Our History
Anhydrite liquid screed has been available in the UK for over 25 years and was usually batched in plants and delivered to sites in ready mix trucks. This could mean delays in delivery times and sometimes an inconsistency of material. And often the site would run out of screed or have too much product delivered, creating waste.
In 2006 Screedflo Ltd was one of the first companies to use state of the art mobile batching trucks to batch the screed on site, so that there was a continuous supply of quality-controlled product and the liquid screed was batched to the exact quantity required, so there were no issues with under or over ordering.
In 2015 we switched from larger articulated trucks to smaller rigid batching units, so that we could service small domestic sites where access was often restricted. This allowed us to supply and install small quantities of liquid screed at competitive rates to domestic properties with small extensions of 10m², while still enabling us to service large commercial sites where more than 600m² was required per day.
Our team of installers are fully trained to operate the batching units and install a range of anhydrite screed to all types of projects and floor build ups.
With the introduction of renewable energy sources and the frequent use of underfloor heating, anhydrite liquid screed is more suitable than traditional screeds for these projects, as it conducts heat more effectively and can be laid at thinner depths.
